7+ years of experience as a Production Manager/Producer. 5+ years as a Location Audio Recordist. Fully insured SFOC holding Drone Operator.

I am currently the managing producer of Good Eye Media Inc., where I produce corporate and commercial videos or go out on set as a Location Audio Recordist or a Drone Pilot. I am also a Production Coordinator with Notch Video, where I organize small shoots across Canada, sometimes 50+ per month.

Before managing my own company, I was the Manager of Sheridan College’s internal Production House for 6 years. I was responsible for managing multiple simultaneous productions, ensuring videos were produced on schedule and on budget for the college and external clients wishing to work with film students. I worked with internal and external clients to determine their video goals and develop budgets and schedules for their productions.

Prior to managing the Production House at Sheridan, I attended Sheridan College’s Media Arts program where I focused my studies on Producing, Production Management, and Location Audio Recording.

Producing is my passion — what I enjoy doing more than any other job in the film industry. Working with clients or directors to make their film/video dreams come to life is the most exciting job I can imagine. It gives me the opportunity to put together the perfect crew for the job and to make something fantastic. I have produced several short films, documentaries, commercial and corporate projects of varying sizes and budgets.

For the past 6 years, I have built my own location audio recording kit and have freelanced as a location audio recordist for a variety of short films, documentaries, commercial and corporate video projects. Every location audio recording job is a little different, and I am always able to adapt to the changing styles of productions and schedules.

My kit includes:

• 8-track audio recorder
• Sennheiser 8060 Shotgun Mic with boom pole and blimp
• 4x Sennheiser G2 and G3 Lavaliere microphones
• 2x Ambient NanoLockit Timecode Generators
• Ambient Timecode Slate
• Up to 7 wireless headphones for Clients/Producers/Directors, etc.

SOME OF MY WORK

I began flying a DJI Inspire 1 Pro for commercial cinematic production in 2016. I am fully insured for $1 million liability and have a nationwide blanket SFOC for commercial flight anywhere in Canada. I have worked with Sportsnet on national broadcast campaigns for major clients like Kraft and Esso, and I have worked with real estate agents to provide drone imagery of houses they are selling. I have also taken the time to shoot some beautiful landscape imagery that can only be captured with a drone.
